Sir Francis Drake is a totally awesome pirate/explorer who, along with sailing around the world, helped defeat the Spanish Armada and became rich by raiding Spanish places/ships/mule trains. He had a sword and the queen knighted him and the Spanish feared him. They called him El Draque, meaning 'The Dragon'. Now, for some of you goody-goody people who don't think violence should be employed without justification (don't worry, I agree with you), I will tell you why Sir Francis Drake had an abnormally large dislike of the Spanish. When he was on a slave-trading mission in Central America (I don't approve of that, either, but Sir Francis Drake later reformed a bit and made friends with escaped slaves) he and his cousin's fleet were stopped in a bay. Some Spanish ships came and gained entrance to the bay, pretending to be friendly. Then they started shooting up the English fleet, and only two ships escaped, Sir Francis's and his cousin's. Sir Francis Drake hated the Spanish after that. Here is a picture of him.
